Not everyone will need Nursing or Rehabilitation care; but when 24/7 care is needed
you may feel fortunate there is such a quality care facility available.
THERE ARE FIVE BASIC WAYS COSTS MAY BE FINANCED:
1. PERSONAL RESOURCES
Approximately 25% of residents are private pay or private insurance.
2. PRIVATE INSURANCE
Long-term insurance is on the rise with more insurance companies offering plans
that cover nursing home care. For those with insurance, it usually covers most costs.
3. MEDICAID COVERAGE
Some residents may qualify for 100% coverage or a small co-pay, these are
Funded by both State & Federal sources and is health insurance for eligible,
low-income individuals. The facility must be Certified. We are Medicaid Certified.
4. MEDICARE COVERAGE
Under certain conditions, Medicare will pay for a fixed period of time in a skilled
nursing facility. We are Medicare Certified.
5. HMO or MANAGED CARE
HMOs and managed health care plans also cover nursing home care under
certain conditions.
